Baby & Me Yoga – Exciting New Post-Natal Program

17 Feb 2017, We are so excited about our new BABY & ME OUTDOOR YOGA Post-Natal Program which will commence on our timetable from Tue 28 February. It will initially launch as a 6 Week Program for the back end of Term 1 and bringing (hopefully) more cooler temps being the start of the Autumn period.

Designed by mums for mums – we hope that this new addition to the training timetable will provide a harmonious outlet for mothers to form strong bonds with their babies, their own bodies, mind and spirit in the fresh outdoors.

This program has designed by local of Yoga Teacher and Mother of 2, Alison Auland who understands what it is like for new parents adjusting to the challenge of raising a newborn, and she also equally knows how challenging it can be to adjust to having an additional child in the family too. Knowing all this, Alison aims to share her experience of motherhood and help you unwind, re-energise and find purpose through the wonder of Yoga, all the while making a beautiful connection for you and your baby.

As a post-natal specific class, we aim to help you rebuild core strength, overall tone and energy to keep up with the demands of your busy family life by providing  safe and effective poses for new mums to return to exercise or complement our other existing programs. The session has been designed to integrate both mummy and baby together, with a session which is gentle enough for those returning to exercise from both natural and caesarian births.

Ideally, this session is suitable for those with newborns through to crawlers, yet we also welcome all levels from beginners through to advanced Yogi’s.
